Featuring Shannon Castaneda Photography

I have some very exciting news to share! Shannon Castaneda Photography has been published in the February edition of the Florida Country Magazine! Check out the article on page 14 by following the link below:

Huge shout out to Kym who wrote this beautiful article about me and my business. She reached a few months ago with the intentions of helping another small business grow. I was honored to have been chosen and cannot thank her enough for taking the time to learn and write about my business. Kym has become a very good friend of mine over the past few years for a few reasons. One, she has always been a huge supporter of my business. When I was the official photographer for the Sunshine State Open Pleasure Show at the Florida Horse Park she bought photos from every show she attended and then blasted them on social media with the sweetest compliments about my work. Second, she provides me with a wonderful stay in her cabin on the weekends I am shooting the LAJUF show so I don’t have to drive back and forth from Jacksonville. It just so happens that she lives right across the street from the show! I stayed with her this past weekend and she was so kind to leave a paper copy of the magazine for me in my cabin. I will treasure this for the rest of my life! Snag your own paper copy of the February/March edition here:

I would also like to share that back in August 2021 I was interviewed by an amazing company called Babes Who Hustle. This group of ladies interviews women from all industries and gives them an opportunity to share about their hustle and what they are working so hard towards. I have to thank my very good friend Ina for giving me the opportunity to be interviewed. She worked with the company for several years and put my name on the list for a future interview. This was the first time I had taken a moment to reflect on how far I have come and where I am headed. It was super refreshing and got me extremely excited for what is to come! You can read the interview here:

The last accomplish I wanted to touch on from last year is my feature in the July 2021 Florida Horse Park Newsletter. They wrote a beautiful passage about the Sunshine State Open Pleasure show and included a collage of some of my favorite show photos. Take a look at it below and please don't mind the terrible quality as this was saved from an e-mail:

I am so very thankful for all of these opportunities to get my name out there. Each one gets me a little bit closer to becoming a full time equine photographer. I am looking forward to that transition in my career!
